I wanted to test out the Community Landmarks feature - I created an account using the New Account button, but when I enter my login details and press Sign In, nothing happens - like there is no activity assigned to the button.

Ah fixed it - after creating an account make sure you close AlpineQuest, then go back into it and you can login OK.

Is it possible to upload existing landmarks?

Edit: Can copy/paste the landmarks from local SD to online. This is a nice feature!

Although they can only be shared with friends, would it be a good idea to have a global repository where anyone can upload and download landmarks?

Hi again,
Yes, like you notified, you can copy/paste waypoints to Community Landmarks.
Concerning sharing landmarks online that's definitely something I want to do: be able to access public landmarks from the community landmarks website.
Should be available soon.
Best regards

hmm hmmm

I can't find a way to do the copy and past... a can copy a single location, but i'm not able to copy the full track segment.. any help?

it would be usefull a manual for all features (of the program) with example and screenshot.

regards,

inode

Another feature should be to have online "private tracks" and "public tracks", the firsts ones can be show with a specific link and the seconds one with a special pages.

The online version will have also the stats shown on the program?

I have to think about features concerning tracks.
I think you will be able to change track visibility using the existing folder visibility: private, hidden or public.
Concerning the statistics why not! But maybe not as much complete.
Best regards
