Hey,
I was a huge fan of your free version, so I finally bought the full version.
Now I have a few problems:
- I created a track using http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/, saved it as gpx. However i couldnt see the track in AlpineQuest, it was in the directory landmarks.
Then i created a new track with AQ and saved it. Then i copied the header of the dummy track in my track...than i were able to see the track and open it. And no, my track gpx file was not corrupted.
- Then i wanted to log my tour, gave it a name and everything seemed fine. Saved the track. Message "Successfully saved...blablabla" popped up, so far so good. Wanted to load the track on my PC...but wait there is no track.... Searched the whole SD it is nowhere. I made some test with a few waypoints and it worked. So, what happened?

Re: Not saving logged Track
Hi Ox and thank you for your support.
First I did not know about this website which seems quite useful.
I made a test and created a GPX file using it and got the same result than you: the file is ignored by AlpineQuest.
I had a closer look at the file and finally saw that at the beginning of the GPX file content were few weird characters that should not be here. Removing these chars made the loading successful.
I made a fix to ignore unrecognized characters in order to load these files, this will be available in version 1.2.1 which is about to be released.
Concerning the missing track file, I never had the same issue and do not see right now what could happened.
Before connecting your phone to your PC you can check the recorded track using AlpineQuest: while recording the track (or after having done it), open the Landmarks Explorer and check if the track is OK (you can browse it). You can also check the folder path in which it has been recorded.
I'm really interested in getting more information about this issue to made a fix if needed.
Best regards

Re: Not saving logged Track
Thanks, for making bikeroutetoaster tracks useable...
If the logging problem occurs again, I will let you know. However I haven't logged a track since then.
Thanks, for the great support
