1. It would be great if there were distinguishable audible notification if you are on the right or left off the trail.
2. Additionally, the ability to control after what time to turn the audible notification of being off-trail on and off (timeout).

For 1, yes absolutely, this it has been already requested and it's in the planned features list. I also link this topic.
For 2, yes this tool can be improved. It should be done in the future.
