AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

I hike different places multiple times. When go to that single map file, the overlays ALL the hikes I have done at that location. Makes no sense. I've looked through settings to no avail. What am I missing or is this a shortcoming of the app?

When you stop the track recorder, the track that has just been recorded is displayed on the map, this way it doesn't suddenly disappear.
You can leave it on the map, or select it and "un-display" it. You can also go in the placemarks menu -> displayed placemarks -> then undisplay all displayed items.
