Impressive app for for hiking adventure. Congratulation.
I bought the pro version on google play.

I have a simple question for you.

Where to save/load the off-line maps on the SD card.
What folder to be used and what is the right path ?
Once I hooked up my phone to the PC with the USB cable where put the maps . Can I store them in a sub-folder ?
T.I.A.

Hi,
You can put your map files in the application folder, where you should find a "maps/" sub-folder.
You can also put them in the media folder of the app (usually "/Android/media/psyberia.alpinequest.full/").

I prefer to put all my map files on my SD card in a directory easy to find. I then have to copy the file from an impossible default location. Why? Because the app says it can't write to the SD card. IT MAKES NO SENSE. This app has its pros but many, many cons. Why also can't you set the saving location to a custom directory?

Writing on the SD card is forbidden by the system since Android 4.4 (9 years ago...).
Since Android 11, it's forbidden to write anywhere except on the specific app folder.
We just try to do the best with all Android limitations.
