Good morning,
First of all, let me thank you guys for this amazing application.

Despite all your efforts to make the edition of landmark files as smooth as possible within the application, and you made incredible work on that, I remain an hopeless PC guy...
I recently set up a 2-ways sync of my landmarks in a Google Drive directory. Ideally, I would love to be able to edit the LDK files on my PC once I am back home to edit the metadata of the waypoints and routes I created (add URL, keywords, description, ...)

=> Is there a desktop application or a library to do that already? If not, I could still export to GPX, edit it before re-importing it, but I would like to avoid this pain and it seems to me the LDK format provides more capabilities than GPX: tree-structure, more metadata like URL, audio, picture, ...
=> Are there public specifications of the LDK format? It would allow me to possibly develop such utility.

=> Beside, if you guys own this format, I would love to see some additions:
- add more medata to the LDK file itself, not only "Description" but also Url, Keywords, ...
- be able to embed pictures and audio directly in the LDK file (but I assume this has already been discussed already...)

Hi and thank you for your interest in this application.

If you want to export your data, you should use the KMZ format instead of the GPX format. You'll be able to keep the folders structure (GPX files are flattened), and you can also export pictures and audio within the file.

If you want to work with the .LDK files, of course no problem but it will require much more time because I don't think there is an app to edit the .ldk files, as this is a format specifically made for this app.
However you can still run the Android version on a PC using BlueStacks for example.
The app formats specs are available here and the .ldk format specs are available here. Various utilities have been made (here and here for example).

Also, I'll try to add more edit fields in the file metadata.
