AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

Hello I noticed that I managed to connect up to 22 satellites at the same time with alpinequest and from what I know there are in orbit 30 gps satellites so how is it possible that I connect to 22 satellites on 30 just on the side of the earth where I am it seems a lot to me there would be only 8 left for the other side of the earth.

The GPS system itself has around 30 satellites, but your device can also use other systems like GLONASS, Beidu, Galileo, etc.
In the Explorer mode you can display how much satellites are used per systems.
