Hi.
Thank you so much for AlpineQuest.

There is a suggestion from 4pda_ru forum to add an the ability to move displayed placemarks to another folder.

The number of placemarks is growing very quickly, and sorting placemarks from the Placemark Explorer is not always convenient, since many placemarks have the same names, and so on.
I think the scheme might look like this (a new item should be added → Position (folder))

Tap on a displayed placemark on the screen = > Tap on a placemark name => Edit details => MORE => Position (folder) => Folder name => OK
or
Tap on a displayed placemark on the screen = > Tap on a placemark name => "Edit section: → a new item should be as Position (folder) or a kind of this => Folder name => OK

The displayed placemark location is moved to the indicated folder.

N.B.
The original link (for registered users unly, sorry)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Alex,
This is something I really want to add.
I remember we talked about that before (but could not find the original post).
I'll try for the next update, but I cannot be sure until it's done (because I may realize it's more difficult than planned).

Hi,
Just a thought on organizing waypoints.
Top half screen: map with placemarks.
Bottom half screen folders.
Then swipe single waypoints to folder.
Or by zooming in out on top half then tapping on a placemark you get a pop up with all the waypoints that are on top of eache other. Then work from this pop up. Select all or some etc. to be moved to folder of choice that is selected in bottom half screen.
Most likely a lousy idea, but i tried.
Friendly greetings
Jos
