Using the + and – zoom control appears to change map on my pixel ( not so on Samsung) not a big issue but can be frustrating see video for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O_d01PV_Vo

Yes, when you've reach the max level of your map another map is selected if you use the zoom buttons.

If you don't want that put your map in a separate folder.

Or add the user setting:
