Hello.
Why the application not process tags
(<img src="">) properly, in landmarks.
For instance:
- scr.jpg
- (20.84 KiB) Downloaded 503 times
The image file exists, the path is correct
AlpineQuest v2.2.4.

Hi,
Yes AlpineQuest does not display images in the description sections.
Images are (should) be displayed just below in a separate box.
If you import a KMZ file for example, it's done automatically.
If you create the point, click on "More" and "Picture" to add pictures.

I know that in AlpineQuest, photos in landmark need to be indicated through a separate field.
But, there are sets of ready-made landmarks (GPX files, for import in AlpineQuest), made in other applications.
Associations with photo-files are already indicated in GPX files through the <img> tag in the description of landmark.
This is a universal way (using the <img> tag), which works in many programs.
It would be nice to implement this feature in future versions of the application, if it is not difficult.

Ok, in case the description contains an <img> tag, the picture will be displayed.
It will be available in the next update, you can request beta version from the play store to get it faster.

Hello.
Is it possible to implement the ability to display images (from the tag: "img src") in the tooltip on the map?
And also, the ability to open an image in an external program (for viewing or editing)
Thanks.

Hi again,
This is already possible when using the application way to include images (both display of image and open in external app).
What I can do is make the app try to detect imported images from GPX file and add them the wanted way, like it's done in the KML import, this way it should work.
This is the only thing I can do.

Thanks again.
