The problem is that the number is in the name of the measurement can not be reset to 1, and continues to increase, despite the fact that all previous measurements I deleted. Yes this is the normal behavior, the counters are never reset, so you can never have to items with the same name.

However there is an user setting that will reset the counter every time you restart the app:

No problem, it's not a regular option so very hard to find.
