[closed] Cannot open AQM file

Hello,
I'm testing the capabilities of Alpinequest and I'm trying to import an AQM file or a KMZ file into the application.

I've tried following these instructions:

However, within the application I do not see the option #5: "File Based Maps". I only see "On Demand Maps".

I tried loading a .KMZ through the "Explore Placemarks" menu option, but when I go to the folder containing my .KMZ the program does not display the file for selection.

Am I doing something wrong?

I have also come across this documentation:

On the very bottom it says:
"Maps must be placed in the folder “/alpinequest/maps/” of your memory card. Use your USB cable to link you device to your PC."

This folder does not exist on my device's internal storage, nor my sdcard storage. My folder is structure is /Android/data/net.psyberia.offlinemaps/*
Should I create a folder called maps within that folder?

Hi,
You can put your maps anywhere you want, you'll just need to navigate the correct folder to find and select your maps.
You have the correct help page: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/ ... pplication.
With the Lite version, you'll only be able to read AQM map files, the KMZ import if only available in the complete (paid version).

I did install it from the play store, but as I said:
within the application I do not see the option #5: "File Based Maps". I only see "On Demand Maps".

I do not see my sdcard in the list below "On Demand Maps".
I'm using a Samsung S8, if that means anything to you.

Can you tell me which app version do you use? (from the app, you can press the main menu icon, it's displayed at the top of the sub-menu).

You're not using AlpineQuest. Last version is 2.2.1b
Please install it from the link given above.
