[closed] Swiss maps tiles

Hello,

I noticed two problems with the swiss maps:

1. In some locations and at certain scales, the adjacent tiles look very different. They do not seem to be from the same map scale even if they are displayed at the same scale. See screenshots.

2. When using the Swiss Slope 30° layer, [bad code: 400 - Bad Request] is displayed on the map at scale 11 and sometimes also 10.

Thanks for your great app !

Hi,

Your #1 problem is because you've older and newer parts of the map in your cache. You can force update stored data as explained here (not practical tough), or wait for the old parts to reach the "update delay" (I've reduced it), the app will automatically update them on next display.

Your #2 problem is because this layer is not available at higher zoom levels for some areas. I've edited the definition to remove the last zoom level, which is anyway (when available) only a magnified version of the previous level.

Hope it helps.

Currently 6 month for this map.
In the next update I'll try to add a simpler method to update some tiles as it has been requested here... I'll try to make a beta version with this within 1 week.
So a third and lazy option is just to wait...

Hello,
For information the [bad code: 400 - Bad Request] message is still displayed on zoom levels 10 and 11.
Best regards

Try to get the map conf again, because everything works fine for me.

I did it, even forced update of the map and slopes layer, restarted the phone: the error message is still displayed.

Sorry I didn't remember you were talking about the slope layer, I was looking at the map.
I can also see the errors on the last level. It's just that those higher levels seems not available everywhere. I'll remove the last one.
