[fixed] Slow AlpineQuest on Redmi Xiaomi 5 plus

Hi!
i am posting with reference to this thread:
https://www.alpinequest.net/forum/viewt ... 93&p=10497
I own also a Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus (these are the specs: https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_redmi_n ... )-8959.php)
and i am experiencing a serious problem with AQ... It's slow like a slug!
I have also tried All-In-One Offline Maps from Play store as indicated in that tread and i can report that's also SLOW as AQ.
I am a long time user on my (now defunct, here the specs: https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note_3-5665.php) Samsung Note3 from 2013 and AQ was VAY smoother, i would say perfect, there.
What is "strange" is that on the Xiaomi AQ is sluggish and slow no matter how much i overclock or underclock the CPU & GPU... It seems that a top speed limited to 1.2Ghz feels exactly the same as an overclock of 2.2Ghz... which feels strange.
I don't do heavy gaming... but any other activity on my phone feels faster than my old Samsung...
Might it be something "strange" going on with Android 9 maybe?
