There is "add as layer", but there is no "remove as layer" item.
There is "clear data", but that sounds like it might be more dangerous.

Re: Add "remove as layer"
The "add as layer" item displays the selected map as a layer;
The "clear data" swipe the stored data of the selected map.
The "clear data" swipe the stored data of the selected map.

Re: Add "remove as layer"
OK, so "clear data" not only simply removes that layer from view, but also deletes all the tiles from that source worldwide? That is what it sounds like it might do... (I am too scared to test it.)
Re: Add "remove as layer"
I agree. It is not obvious what impact "Clear Data" actually has. However, surely layer removal should be within the "Displayed Maps" options. There is an "Undisplay" option here which does appear to remove the layer. Perhaps this should be renamed as "Remove Layer" to better associate it with being the opposite of "Add Layer" ?

Re: Add "remove as layer"
Hi again,
Yes, to "undisplay" a map you've to go in the "Displayed maps" list and select "Undisplay" on a map. This is the opposite of the "Display" action you use to "display" a map.
The "Add as layer" action allows you to display a map without un-displaying the current map(s).
The "Clear data" will delete the map data (after conforming). Maybe "Swipe data" would be more appropriate.
Anyway, the next update will come with brand new icons that will make those actions more clear.
