AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

I have been using Alpinequest 2.0.7b successfully for a few months with .qct maps stored on an external SD card on my Android 7.0 Motorola G5 phone. The external maps stopped being available suddenly and it turned out that the SD card was corrupted (as far as the phone was concerned at any rate - it works fine on my laptop). I loaded the maps on to another SD card (which shows ok on the phone), but I now get the message "Your system prevents usage of this location" when I try to select the SD card as the map location. I checked under Apps in the Settings and 'Storage' is enabled for Alpinequest. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Alpinequest, but the problem was still there.

Any suggestions as to what to try next?

You don't have to change the application folder.
Just put your files on the SD card and select them as explained in the online help here: https://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/ ... pplication.
