AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

AlpineQuest 1.0.8 has been released.

Here is the list of new features:

• Status bar icon when recording a track in background (suggested by emvee here);
• Full screen map view. Use the 'Menu' button of your phone to display the Android Status bar;
• Landmark Explorer improved as the GPX loader (faster, uses less memory, detects corrupted file);
• Online help (see below);
• Loads KML files (suggested by Stefano);
• Detects stops in track statistics and few more stats (suggested by twoten here);
• Ability to close the GPS tab without stopping the GPS using a setting (suggested by twoten & ukuest here);
• Confirms close application when recording a track (suggested by ukuest here);
• Fixed: Droid X issues (reported by chinook9 here);
• Fixed: Exceptions at startup (reported by bastien & dags1972 here, by Anton here);
• Fixed: 0m track length error (reported by Xy()niX, htcdesire and ukuest here).

Important note
To avoid some error messages at startup, remove the old version before installing this one.

You can access it from the application using Menu -> Help -> Online Help.
