Some proposals

Hi and thanks for AlpineQuest.

I would like to offer (or offer again) some (new) features. Sorry for bothering...

1. Shift cursor to the bottom of the screen in "Rotate the map (using GPS)" mode. I realize it can cause some problems with all "Screen center" commands but... This feature would be very useful while navigating

2. A perspective map view (pseudo 3D view) just like in OZI Android (see picture)

3. 3D view as here —> 3D maps
One more note for AQ author here —> http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopi ... p=66663950

4. Could you add support for ozf map format? I understand it may sound strange but anyway a lot of people here use OZI topo maps for navigation. In this case they can use AlpineQuest instead of Ozi for Android (not very well made for Android, Winmobile version was better).

Thanks.

As to item #3...
NOAA Bathymetry maps look very much alike 3D maps :)
Thanks.
But zoom levels are not very big there. It would be great to have real 3D as it is in that "3D maps" application by the link. If I am not mistaken it uses Open Street Map tiles and Elevation data files (tiles).
If it is too complicated for AQ maybe item #2 map view (pseudo 3D view) would be enough.

Hi Alex and thanks four your suggestion.

For 1), I know it has been asked for a while, this is still planned as soon as possible.
For 2), it would be great but I don't know how much time it would request.
For 3), of course it would be great but I know it requires a lot of times, so not planned for now.
For 4), I can try to add this format.

I already have planned the list of features for the next 2.0.8 version, but I'll try to add 1) and 4) for the following version.

Best regards
