AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

Hi. I've used Alpine Quest for several years and found it very useful and reliable. Recently, the track recorder has proven to be very erratic, giving unreasonable trail and drawing straight lines between very distant points on a hike.

I am running AQ ver 2.0.6 and on a samsung galaxy S5 neo. I have set this app not to sleep.

Please advise.

Hi and thanks for your support and interest in this application.
Be sure to keep your device with an access to the sky when recording your track to get the best accuracy as possible. You can also check the recorder setting to verify that you're using a record frequency of 10s or less. If it's greater, then application will completely turn off the GPS between update (economy mode) which may have issue when getting the signal back.
