Idea: Recent Targets. A list of oh, five, lat/lon pairs where one recently targeted the center of the screen.
That way one could toggle back and forth between them without the formality of establishing a permanent landmark,
and without having to position the center perfectly again to remake a target.

Yes, of throwaway value, just like recent search tips in one's browser.

Hi Dan,
What about an automatically filled set of waypoints in the "Unsorted landmarks" folder, called for exampled "Recent targets". The application would put all targeted location in it.
So you could retrieve your old targets, and clear the set any time.
This way it wouldn't add more complexity to the menus.

Well it should automatically trim itself (at some user defined setting? Default... 25?), else it will pile up too much junk.
