I think it can be fantastic or not very useful for AQ users but I have a question:
Does the author plan to use 3D in AlpineQuest?

now that you have added the ability to get DEM files, this should be possible but i imagine it is a lot of work! i would like to see this in AQ too eventually, but personally it would be a much lower priority than the ability to download maps based on tracks/waypoints, or easier editing of tracks and manual drawing of tracks.
