[closed] Track Recorder not working

I have full Alpinequest version which I have just purchased.
When I toggle Track Recorder to on, it briefly flashes an error message "class ddc function updateSettings() throws illegalArgumentException(provider doesn't exist:none)". Then the AlpineQuest agent is started but my tracks are not recorded.

Huawei Honor 5x , running Cyanogenmod 13

Hi,
It seems that the application cannot detect your GPS.
Have you granted the application the right to use the GPS? It should be asked when you start the application.
Alternatively you can check as explained here.
Let me know.

AlpineQuest does have Location and Storage permissions on my phone and it display's the GPS position on the map.

I have had a copuple of occasions when the track recorder seemed to have died. A reboot of the tablet and all was well, suggesting that there was a problem of some sort with the GPS. Have you tried rebooting?

Can you make an error report from the app (main menu -> more -> Report errors) so I can check your logs.

I had a look at your logs and the app correctly recognize your GPS.
Can you try to re-select the location source in the track recorder settings as explained here. You can try to temporarily select "Network" and then go back to "Outdoor GPS".

It started recording the without error when I changed gps source to network, then continued working when I changed it to outdoor gps

I don't know what happened on your device but you've currently the location source "none" selected, which is non existing source (maybe at some point the app could not detect your GPS). So selecting "Network" then "GPS" again should now work.

Yes it is working now.
I don't know why location source was "none". I didn't ever change the location source, it was not working the same day after installing the app.

I've made few changes in the application to be sure things like that cannot happen.
