Hey

I have a problem. I was on a hikingtour with my LG G4 with included barometer.

I recorded the whole tour up to the height of 1992 meters and back to the start of about 945 meters. When i looked in the App at the highest point, the GPS showed about 1994 meters height, the barometer 1992 meters (so no problem)

But when i saved the track at the end, it shows a maximum height of 1664 meters. And the height curve (when barometric height is use) shows also 1664 meters as maximum. The GPS height curve shows the correct 1994 meters.

Has anyone experienced this problem before or has a solution? It has nothing to do with the height correction because during the tour the height was shown correct! It was false after saving!

Strange issue! No similar problem has been reported so far.
Would it be possible to email me (contact at psyberia dot net) your track file so I can check what's wrong? (you can select "Export as..." > "Open with" > "Email" from the track menu).

The problem comes from the pressure values recorded in the first segment. As you can see in the graphic below, the pressure remains constant most of the time, like if you (or at least your device) were in a closed box (in this case the pressure sensor cannot record the real outside pressure). Could it be the explanation?

Note that if you display each segment details, then the stats are fine. I'll try to improve the pressure calibration process of tracks to calibrate each segments separately, so at least you'll have a correct overall profile...
