Hi,
Since 2.0.0, swiping to the right in the map view (in order to scroll the map) no longer overrides the default android watch behavior (suspending the app and displaying the app launcher). I bought version 1.4 only shortly before 2.0.0 was released, but I am pretty sure it was different then. If I remember correctly, in order to get back to the app launcher, one had to press the button. Anyway, the map view would be much more usable this way.
Or is there a setting that I failed to notice?
Apart form that small usability issue AlpineQuest has never let me down. It helped me track my mountain biking sessions here at home as well as find my way while hiking through the half desert in South Africa. Keep up the good work!

Re: Scrolling on android watches
Hi and thanks for your feedback and support, sorry for the delay.
I haven't (voluntary) changed anything concerning this point. But as I regularly update the "framework" provided by Google, some changes may come from there. Unfortunately I don't have any smartwatch yet, so I won't be able to test. I have also not find any documentation on this subject right now...
If you don't mind, you can however check this by installing the older (1.4.22) version again from here. It won't remove or replace your current version (it replaces the Lite version though).
If you do so, please let me know if it was the same or not.
I'll soon try to get a smartwatch anyway, more and more users are requesting support for them...
Sorry for not being able to help you more...

Re: Scrolling on android watches
Hi, Thanks for the reply. I reinstalled 1.4.22 as per your instructions and I can confirm that the behavior of version 1.4.22 is different from that in version 2. In 1.4.22, swiping just scrolls the map and in order to leave the application, one has to press the button at the side of the watch. Starting from 2.0.0, swiping to the right quits the app.

Re: Scrolling on android watches
Thanks a lot for the update, sorry you had to do my job!
I'll definitely disable the "Swipe-To-Dismiss Gesture" then. I guess it was automatically disabled in the older version as it wasn't "designed" for recent Android versions...
With this dismiss feature disabled, were you still be able to quit the application (and how)? Since there is no "long press to dismiss pattern" available...
Thanks again
