I want to display a walk in wikiloc, but wikiloc wants it as a route, not as just waypoints.
The file is saved in .gpx on alpinequest, and shows up fine there, but is there a way to export the file to a trk or rte?
Many thanks
E.

Can I change a saved gpx to a route or track?
Re: Can I change a saved gpx to a route or track?
There's a free Windows program called RouteConverter at www.routeconverter.com which will convert your track to a route (or vice versa).
Another Windows program I find useful is GPS Track Editor at http://www.gpstrackeditor.com. With this you can easily tidy up a track with false points in it (eg from inside buildings)

Re: Can I change a saved gpx to a route or track?
Hi and thanks for the delay.
Unfortunately there is no easy way to convert landmarks from one type to the other, so I guess the easiest way would be to use an online convert tool just like ds47uk suggests.
An alternative method I sometimes use from the app is to export the waypoints in a CSV file, and then import this file again as a route, but it's quite tricky...
Best regards
