[closed] X and Y grid values sometimes overwrite each other

At certain zoom levels with certain grid coordinates, the X and Y values overwrite each other, just like a vertical and horizontal word in crossword puzzles. This means that a few of their digits are unreadable.

Solution. Keep vertical grid values far away from horizontal grids and grid values, by centering them at the halfway point between two grids, and vice versa.

Hi again,
Yes you're right some grid labels may overlap others. Unfortunately there is no easy way to change that with the way it's done now; both axis are drawn independently and aren't aware where are the labels of the other one...
However labels are repeated quite often so usually the next label on the same axis isn't obfuscated and clearly readable.
Sorry about that
Best regards

(All I remember is that indeed they were repeated... BAM! exactly on top of the other each time too, for as long as one slid the map in any direction. :-( )
