Map refresh

In the on-line help is written: “Stored maps are maps retrieved on-demand from an online map servers on the Internet, and stored on your device”.

My question is if an individual tile of a stored map, after long time expires and is deleted or tiles are never deleted but in case of a subsequent visit (and the device in on-line) are refreshed with updated tiles available on map server.

Hi and thanks for your interest in our application.
Your second statement is right, tiles are never (automatically) deleted, but when displayed, the app checks their ages and updated them if needed (and if a data connection is available).
The update delay depends on the map, you can long-press a map, select "Details", and check the "Update" line (usually 3M - for 3 months).
To clear the data, you have to explicitly select "Clear data" on a map (which clears all the map data).
