I have over 1,000 miles of blue lines on my maps. These have been generated as I travel, so they're cluttering up the maps hugely at this stage. I've searched everywhere, but can't find any clue telling me how to get rid of them. I don't care if they're saved or lost forever, I just want the maps cleared of them. Something tells me there should be a button hidden somewhere that takes care of it in one fell swoop, but I reckon I've exhausted all the menu choices and found nothing that will do it.

Hi,
It seems that the 'Location tracker' of the app is activated and record your path.
You've to turn it off and clear the recorded data. You can click anywhere on the blue lines, and select "Location tracker" to display the details window from which you can clear the data.
Here is the online help on the Location Tracker: http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/1.4/tracker.
Let me know if you have any issue,
Best regards
