Yes we plan to add this feature, that would be very nice.
I can't give you an release date right now (won't be in the few next versions), but it will definitely be available one day.

Hi,
Most smartwatch can read notifications. Printing some information (bearing, distance, altitude...) in a notification could allow some developer to read them and display it on their watch.
I was mostly thinking using it when I have a waypoint as a target (bearing and distance to target are already present on the map, why not just pop it in the notification )
