AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

I love using your app and have happily payed for it as you deserve it.

I have loaded m5 old qct memory map file and alpinequest can seevand use it. However when I zoom out(several times) the resolution is not ver good(unreadable actually). I use a full hd samsung tab 3 8.0. On my samsung s4 I can turn on use high resolution map but hidden or not there as a choice on the tab 3. Using explorer top map(downloaded for offline use) the resolution is very good on both the tab3 and the s4. Are qct files limited in resolution when zoomed out a significant amout ?

Hi and thanks for your support.
QCT maps only contain one base zoom level (like 1:50,00, 1:25,000, etc). When you zoom out, the same map is still displayed.
It's like you would have only one paper map, and going far away from it. At one point it would not become readable anymore.
To get a proper display when zooming out, you need to load another QCT map of the same area with another zoom definition, just like you would switch to another paper map to get a lower definition.
If you check explorer maps, you'll see that another map is displayed when zooming out, it's not just the same map displayed smaller and smaller.
