A line remains from the last search location to wherever I am. Tried clearing the search location box and the line stil appears in the map.

How do I get rid of this line?

Hi,
This is a targeted location.
Just click on it (at the end, on the circle) and select "Remove target".
You can also manage all displayed and targeted things from the Landmarks menu -> "Displayed landmarks".
