Use for geocaching
Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to input co ordinates such as are needed for finding geocaches so that I can then navigate to those co ordinates.
Re: Use for geocaching
May be you can use another way : display coordinates of screen center (on bot of main menu) [xx°xx'xx.x"N xx°xx'xx.x"E on top left], move to cache coordinates, put a landmark there and so on...

Re: Use for geocaching
Hi,
Here a two ways you can use for geocaching with AlpineQuest:
- Download the .LOC files from provided by Geocaching.com for each cache (you don't need a premium account for these files). Here is the online help about .LOC files;
- Copy the location of a geocache from the cache description webpage, return in AlpineQuest, open the search dialog (AlpineQuest menu -> Search), and paste the location in the text field. Be sure to use the correct input format "WGS84 (Deg Min)".
Let me know if you have any issue.
Best regards
