Update to 1.3.7 online edition problem with previous cached

I recently updated to 1.3.7 online edition on a new android 4.1 phone but seem to be missing the OS Explorer option in community maps and I am not able to access my previous cached maps from my SD card. Is there a solution to this please?

Hi,
If you are using the Google Play full version, you should be able to update again to version 1.3.7b that will bring you back all your cached tiles.
If not, please let me know.

I bought the paypal online edition last year and have just reinstalled it (1.3.7) on a new phone. Will I need to purchase it again via Google play?

No you don't have to.

You can rename the old cache folder to access your tiles again (this is what is fixed in version 1.3.7b):

In the folder alpinequest/cache/, find the old folder called "comm_4.aqx_MSOS" and rename it to "com.4.aqx_MSOS".
Then, using AlpineQuest, browse the community map list and select the UK Explorer Map.

This worked. I changed the folder name and opened the program choosing UK explorer maps from the custom map menue. This initially caused the alpinequest program to freeze but i found that by allowing mobile data it then loaded up the previous cache.
