Hello and memory maps question

Hi All,
I am new to Alpine Quest and this forum so forgive me if this is a dumb question
I have used memory map for years and still have the V5 map cds and would like to use the maps with AQ is this possible and if so how?

yes
I have just downloaded memory map V5 OS maps into my nexus using jellybean 4.2 and got them to run on alpinequest 1.3.7
memory map has an android app but it 'broke' when android was updated
what I dont seem to be able to do is get the map to autoscroll keeping me in the centre?
anyone have any ideas?

Hi,
You will be able to use the QCT map files with AlpineQuest.
You can check on your CD's if your maps have a .qct file extension. If so, it should work.
Note that you can test your maps using the free version.
Concerning the "autoscroll" feature, click on the "GPS Localization" menu button, an check the "lock current location".
If you move to another location, just click again on the localization button to center your location again.

I have fitted my nexus to my 4x4 truck and am using it as an offroad gps running GB OS 1:50000 maps.
When I zoom in I drive off the edge of the map quickly,any way of getting an 'autoscroll' function to save me having to access menus and push buttons on the go?
