AlpineQuest & OfflineMaps

Have used this before and always created aqm files ok from UK OS maps.

This time though after over 1 hour downloading (1.5GB) all I have is a lot of .jdb files in tilestore/db-Ordnance Survey Explorer Maps (UK) and a number of .tar files in atlases/scotland but no AQM file.

This was achieved by selecting Create Atlas and so I do not understand why the AQM file was not created this time. Not only that if I try to do it again, MOBAC wants to download all the files again (1.5GB!). Is there any way to point it at the files it has already downloaded?

Hope that makes some sort of sense and would appreciate any help please.

Hi,
If you got .tar files then you should have selected another map format.
If you select again the same area and zoom levels, MOBAC won't download again the tiles you already have (MOBAC stores the map images in the .JDB files).
If you didn't clear the map atlas, you can just select the AQM format and regenerate the map.
