Request for distance markers on tracks

Hi Alpine Quest. I am looking for an option to display distance markers on tracks. Something that would look like this:

And, we could set the distance we would like between the markers. I think something like this will help a lot with logistics of longer trips. Distance between water, food, camping. We would know with a glance instead of making a vague estimate.

When you display tracks on the map, you can already add some kinds of distance marker with some pre-defined distances.
