[done] Target measurement

Post by Jimmy Hodges »

This app use two measure up to 5280 ft before it changed to the mile I use this app all the time in my business and now I can only use certain parts of it because you change the targeting measurement it only goes up to 523 ft now and it switches to the mile I have friends that use this app along with their surveying equipment the geologist that worked for a Mining Company told me about this app they loved it because they could measure by the foot for long distance and now they can't since the last update it only makes common sense that it measures 5280 ft before it changes over to the mile please fix this on your new update

I have to agree that in the Imperial (UK and USA) system you DO NOT mix and match decimal miles with yards or feet. It's one or the other. I think the only way round this problem is to have 3 options
1 - Miles and decimal miles
2 - Miles and yards (or maybe yards up to 1760 and then go decimal)
3 - Miles and feet (or maybe feet up to 5280 and then go decimal)

Then everybody's happy!!

Hi Jimmy and sorry about that.
This will be corrected in the next version (as previously discussed here).

Imperial distances will have those options:
- feet (up to 3), yards (up to 1760), miles;
- feet (up to 3), yards (up to 22), chains (up to 80), miles;
- feet (up to 5280), miles;
- feet (up to 528), miles;
- feet (up to 3), yards (up to 1760), miles, metric elevations;

Hope it will suit everybody.
