hi again

i'am looking for reading DEM files like TIFF and display it in colors by heights.
with capability to 3D MAP VIEW based on DEM..



can u add this features in the new version ?
at least reading DEM files..

Hi again,
You can already use DEM files (.HGT format) in the application and display the height in colors as explained here: http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/elevations

For 3D view, this is not planned for now.

but how to convert DEM tif to hgt format ?
and why can't read tif directly ?

TIFF is a special format not easy to use with Android. Maybe you'll find this in professional PC software, but this is not the purpose of this application.
But it seems you can still easily convert TIFF files to HGT files: https://mygeodata.cloud/converter/tiff-to-hgt

unfortunately this site does not converting to hgt
i wish if u can make AQ read tif or any another format of xyz files
