Dear Alpine Quest support team.
I face following problem:
I have now tryed serveral times to save an area for offline use, and each time I end up, and can't find the saved file.
1) I click "Select and save an area" - OK
2) I define the area + the Zoom level and click on the littel download icon - OK
3) I wait and can see the progress - OK
4) I get the message "Successfully completed" - OK
5) I now click "Available maps" - then look under "My onboard maps" under my SD Card - and get the message "This place is empty"
6) Then I try look under "Device Storage" - "My Downloads" - same message: "This place is empty"
7) Then I try look under "Device Storage" - "My onboard maps" - same message: "This place is empty"
I have tryed to download small and large files eg 50KB / 3,5 GB - each time same result. I have looked everywhere in all folders within Alpine Quest - and can't find the downloaded files. I have also read the manual, and as I can understand, I do everything right.
I have the paid version AlpineQuest 2.02C installed on my smartphone
I have a SD card in my phone, and have set Alpine Quest "Storage Location" to: /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/psyberia.alpinequest.full/files
Have Alpine Quest support team any idea to solve this problem?
Please help me in this matter.
Kind regards,
Gert Eriksen.

Re: Offline maps
Hi and thanks for your interest in this application.
The "My onboard maps" will only display the maps you manually copy from your computer to your device.
When you use the "Store area" tool, you'll found the stored data under "On demand maps".
You can find more details about the two kinds of maps here: http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/maps
So, now that you've saved the area you need using the store area tool, you have nothing else to do. Just keep on using the app, but you're now sure that this area will be available even without internet access (turn your device in airplane mode if you want to make a test, or activate the "use only local storage mode" of the app: http://www.alpinequest.net/en/help/v2/m ... k-coverage).
Hope it helps
