First of all, fantastic work on the new update.

Love the new Dashboard, especially with the Length remaining on Path info, brilliant for walkers.

I have one request, would it be possible to have that info as an option to overlay on the map, so it can be seen with a quick glance?

Happy to know that you like the new version!
I got lot of different request concerning informations to display on the map, I think the location that would be fit most users would be to use a "small" dashboard version displayed on the side of the map (with the ability to toggle to the full existing dashboard), as explained here.
I think it may also be what you need...

Sounds like a great idea, as long as it doesn't clutter the map view too much
