I have just purchased AlpineQuest and I must say that you are to be congratulated for what you have created so far. Please keep up the good work.
Is it possible to get online access to the same list of map sources e.g. Google Maps, Multimap etc that is available from within the Mobile Atlas Creator?
The support forum is temporarily read-only. For urgent requests, please email contact[at]psyberia.net

Re: Online Maps
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.
More online maps is a often asked feature. I'm improving the maps feature a lot for version 1.0.9, and Google Earth (satellite) maps will replace OSM Osmarender.
Concerning the other map sources, I'm in doubts.
Technically this is quite easy to do, the problem comes from the copyrights. Most map sources doesn't allow third party applications to access their maps. Until now they seems to accept this but it could change in the future and they could apply their copyrights.
This is why only OpenStreetMaps map are available in AlpineQuest.
What should be possible to do in next version, is to plug additional online maps (just like it is possible to do with offline maps), but these maps won't be built-in like actual online map.
I'll let you know about this feature as soon as possible.
Regards

Why replace Osmarender why not add Google Earth to the list of available maps?AlpineQuest wrote:Google Earth (satellite) maps will replace OSM Osmarender.

Re: Online Maps
Yes, good question.
This is just to limit the number of 3 online maps for the free version (like offline maps). Full version won't be affected since as explained previously, it should support unlimited additional online maps.
But this decision is not sure for now.

Hi,
Three online maps will be available in next version (for both Lite and Full).
They are already available in the beta2 here.
Thanks for your feedback.
