Hello,
I have another idea. Maybe you could add a button to close the application when we have finished to use it.
This button could avoid to use battery and increase this time-life and free memory.

Re: Close Button
Hi Bastien,
In theory, when you press the "back" button under the map view, the application should kill itself and no remaining in the back processes. This has been validated on Android 1.5. Maybe the way off killing processes has changed in newer Android version, I'll check it.
Nevertheless, a new button (or contextual menu entry) to quit the application as you are talking about could be very useful. This will be added soon.
Thanks for your feedback!

Re: Close Button
I have just checked and it's right. The application is closed when I click on the "back" button.
Often I use the "Home" button or I switch directly on another application, it's why the app works in background. I have bought my phone 7 days ago, I need to learn to use it.

OK Nice.bastien wrote:I have just checked and it's right. The application is closed when I click on the "back" button.
As you notice it, the "Home" button send applications to background, which allows to restore them just after in the same state. But Android can sometimes kill background applications if the foreground one needs a lot of memory, so be careful.

Re: Close Button
The close button doesn't work on my HTC Desire.
When I click on this button, nothing appends.
