[closed] Storing Map data yields blank maps when offline

Hey all,
I went on a couple of hikes this weekend and prior to doing so I stored the areas around the hikes I was doing. When I got outside of cell service I opened the app and the whole map was blank. I tried finding some function to load my maps but couldn't get anything to work! Then today I followed the steps in these two help files to store a map area

When I went offline and checked the coverage area all 4 squares were Red.

I'm using the free version right now to test out the apps functionality and I'm worried this doesn't work in the full version!

Hi,
Have you set the maximal zoom level to download (see help link you gave)?
Don't hesitate to make an error report after downloading an area so I can check if there is something wrong.

When I have seen red tiles in Offline mode, it has been due to map cache corruption.

I understood that SteveL was talking about the red squares of the "show storage coverage" tool, but maybe you're right. In the case the solution would be to clear the map data.

Thanks for the replys! How would I go about clearing the map cache data??

Open the maps explorer, long press you map and select "Clear data".
But are your red squares like the ones here?
