Store Map - polygon shape as enhancement to square

Hello. When downloading maps often just need to select a particular area and it would save a lot of downloading space and time if it was possible to define a specific shape or polygon for the area to be downloaded rather than just having a square. This facility available in MOBAC when downloading from the internet is very useful as for example can plot a shape exactly following the perimeter of an island. As has already been suggested by another user downloading a map in relation to a gpx route would also be great. Thanks again. Just planning my next trip abroad and AQ is providing me with some great maps to assist my walking.

This would be extremely useful indeed!
Also, a graphical way to delete specific previously stored maps by drawing a polygo would also be nice. In devices without external memory card slot, you have this ghost of one day having to delete all the stored maps and start it all over again. Instead, I could just delete those that I don't need any more.
