[closed] Unable to buy the app

I think this is a "strange behaviour".
The Google App store lets me download and play with the free app, but when I try to buy its blocked as being "high risk".
I can't buy it from Alpine Quests own website either, that gets a similar "high risk" message.....I don't really understand where that message comes from, could it be from Google? My phone runs Chrome.
Doesn't help that I'm brand new to Android, and too old to be a quick learner.

Hi and thanks for your interest in our application.

I just checked the Google Play Store logs and it seems that Google considers your transaction as "fraudulent" and automatically cancel the order (I think it's your orders since there are loads of them and usually none).

However it's strange that you're not able to buy the application from our website using PayPal, since it's not linked to the Google Play Store at all. When trying this, did your get the similar message from PayPal too? If yes, I guess there's something wrong with your card or mean of payment...

My old phone has real plastic buttons that you press, and I have never before has any use for apps.
I find the new phone most confusing..... the virtual keyboard slides off somewhere when I'm trying to type, and I really have no idea how to work the thing. If Google interpret my first fumbling attempts at buying an app as attempted fraud, I don't really see how I'm ever going to build up a convincing history of purchasing.
I was trying to buy from the app store because I think I read somewhere that you get updates if you buy there, but not if you buy from your own website, which itself seems odd, although I guess Google control the means of distribution of the updates. Are updates worth having?
I just checked my PayPal account, there is no mention of a declined transaction, and I don't remember getting as far as PayPal on the infernal phone before it turned me away, but I'm prepared to be wrong on that.
While I'm asking cheeky questions, I read that your "paid for" app allows me to download OS maps for nothing, which must make it the deal of the century, is it true?
I am reluctant to buy from your website on this PC which I am a bit familiar with, because I want to use the app on the phone to navigate and I can't imagine how I might move the app from one device to another.
I went into my Google account and added a debit card, and changed the permission from default "don't buy less secure apps" to option "do buy less secure apps" but they still don't want to talk to me.
Sorry to be a bloody nuisance.

Hi again,
I would like to clarify things about the PayPal purchase on our website. There is no need for a PC, you just pay using PayPal instead of Google Checkout, but at the end, you'll have the same mobile application installed (in fact, there is no PC version at all).
Also, all updates are included even if you buy using PayPal. Updates are very important, they bring new features, correct errors, and come about once in a month.
