"Store area" map location

Where are the files created by "Store area" saved? How can I delete such maps when I no longer need them?

(I'm using the latest version of AQ on a Samsung SIII rrunning Android 4.3 and on a Nexus 10 running Android 4.4.)

Hi,
You can clear the data from the "Explore Maps" menu. Display the map you want to clear the data, long press it and select 'Clear data'.

OK, got that, thanks. Two queries:

There was stored data indictated in several of the maps in the listing, and I'm fairly sure that I did not do a "Store area" in most of them - or might I have done it unknowingly? I cleared them all anyway.

Is there any way of showing, on the map itself, what existing stored areas there are? That would help when not wanting to redownload an area which may already reside.

It could be much interesting to have a feature like your "competitor" OruxMap!
I would like to download a map saving with "name" and "zoom levels"
Will it be possible in next future ?

@AntonM: note that as soon as you display an area with any map, then the data is stored, that's should be why you had few data stored with various map (maybe you tried them once).
Also, you cannot right now see what's stored, but it's planned.

@Paolo: this is planned too, you'll be able to create named maps with the store area feature.
