[closed] Cannot see all map levels

Well i m using the app for some time now,or at least i try to do so.I build a map with the PC app provided,but even if i choose 5-6 levels of detail and my map-file is 80mb big,in my cellphone (HTC Hero) looks like a 50x50 image file.

I try to focus in with + button but i get only 2 levels :S

Also, last time i used the PC app, it rendered a completely diferent piece of map than the one that i had chosen. :S

Hi,
Your problem is strange. Note that the higher level area is always a bit larger than the next level due to the rounding of image tiles (area of next level is drawn on the map), so on the border of a level you may not be able to zoom.

Are the + and - clickable or not ? (i.e. colorated in black or in light grey ?)

Did you test a demo map to see how levels work in AlpineQuest ?
Did you follow this tutoriel to create your map ?

Well the problem seemed to be something related to Google Earth + Mobile atlas creator + Alpine quest.Now i tried OpenStreetMap Mapnik and everything seems to work fine!

+ and - are available in a wide range as intended!Thats really good news,because tomorrow, in a few days i will climb Mount Olympus and i wanted to have Alpine Quest working )

But it should work the same way with Google Earth map source (indeed it does for me).

There is still something strange:
Consider having a map A with several map levels. Zooming (changing between map levels) works fine. Load map B - zooming OK.
Go back to map A - no zooming at all. Change back to B (or even C) - no zooming at all. Change back to A - zooming OK.
What am I doing wrong? Why does it work sometimes and sometimes not?

The behavior you are described seems to not be normal.
