[closed] Google Satellite [bad code 503 Service Unavailable]

Hi All

I have just received [bad code: 503 - Service Unavailable] on google satellite when I try to load new map areas on All-In-One Offline Maps. Please help - I have tried uninstalling app and re-loading a back up file then re-installing app, also I am getting this error on two devices Android 2.3 & 4.0.
The other maps - terrain, road etc load fine with no errors, just satellite.
Also my Google Maps (on satellite) and Google Earth seem to be working fine and load new non-cached areas no problems.

Please let me know a fix or if more information is required.

Are you using the last 1.8 version?
I tested Google Sat display over Hawaii and it loaded fine.

I have got 1.8 version. Also when i received the 503 error message I forgot to mention it was on my home wifi. I have now tested maps on my 3g network( not where i live) and its loading the google satelitte fine. I will test again on my home wifi and see if the problem still exists tomorrow.

Ok thanks for the update.
Are you connected on your personal protected WiFi, I mean not on a public access like BTWifi or FreeWifi?
Some times my phone automatically connects to my public wifi, which requires an user/password authentication so nothing's working fine...

Yes personal protected wifi.. wifi was working fine, even loading the other google maps no worries?? I'm back at home now and seems to be working again???? Can you get kicked off google servers for using them too much? I have been downloading maps like a demon since getting this amazing app!

I've never noticed such behavior from Google but yes it's possible that they put a daily volume limit or something like that based on your IP address or user agent (that identify AlpineQuest uniquely)...
I close this issue but let me know it you encounter something similar again,
