[closed] Hiking date

Post by Enoch.72 »

Hello,
I'm using the application for long and I'd like to submit you some little suggestions to improve this amazing application.

1. One of the thing that I really missing is the date of the track's start and stop. The recorded shown a lot of events (max/min elevation and breaks, moving speed, etc. but I find mentioned the date just on the saved files. To have them shown in the events and maybe on the path displayed on map (near the time) would be great.

2. Last and this summer I recorder a lot of tracks and I realize that would be interesting to have some general statistic in order to have an idea of, for example, how many km I walked in the month/year or how many meters of the elevations I covered and so on. Also this would be a great and it makes easier to compare the performance year/month by year/month.

3. This maybe is a minor request but would be possible to have the Moving speed data shown also as "%"? For example, 30% of increase, 40% of flat, 30% of decrease?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi and thanks for your feedbacks.

Start date of tracks are displayed in the Landmarks Explorer (as shown below), but you're right that it's not in the details.
I'll add these information in next version, thanks.

Point 2 is very interesting. This would be a complete new feature, and will require more time, but I'll definitely try to add that. It may be quite easy to compute new stats among all tracks of the some folder, or something like that... I can't give you a release date for that, but I try to do something...

3) Possible for sure and easy, I'll add that in next version.

Thanks again
Best regards

Yes, I noticed the date as you reported but I had the feeling it was the "File Save" date and not the "Track Start" date.

What to say? Thank you very much for having considered my suggestion and for your great job.

Bye

Version 1.4.7 is available with the date displayed in the details.
The moving speed data is now also displayed as percents.
I have also added the start time and end time events.
Thanks
