I noticed one of the features that was announced in 1.4.21 is:
Pictures of waypoints are now exported in KMZ files and can be displayed in Google Earth;
Can you walk us through how to do that?
Will the picture from the picture waypoint show up in Google Earth?
Thank you so much.

Re: Picture waypoint as KMZ export?
Hi,
Yes sorry, you're right this is not well explained.
- If you've created picture waypoints, open the landmarks explorer and locate where's saved the waypoint. Then long-press it and select "Export as...". Select "KMZ file". This will create a KMZ file in the "Exported landmarks" folder, which you can open in Google Earth where it will be displayed with your picture.
- If you have taken pictures from the Location tracker while recording your path, then export the track in KMZ and you'll be able to see the track in Google Earth, together with pushpins showing your geo-localized pictures.
Let me know if you have an issue
Best regards

Re: Picture waypoint as KMZ export?
When I export to KMZ the photos don't seem to come through, only display blue boxes with question marks like there is a missing link. Any suggestions on a way around this?

Re: Picture waypoint as KMZ export?
Please:
- Please make an error report from the app after an export (main menu -> more -> report errors).
- If possible, email me one example file that is not working.

Re: Picture waypoint as KMZ export?
Thanks for your prompt response and for your great product. It has really changed the way I go about work and play- cannot thank you enough.
It is not that there is an error in the actual exporting of the KMZ file, rather there is an error when I export the file (via email) that the waypoint shows up with a camera icon shown, but when I click on it, the error (blue box with question mark). Will email you a sample file shortly.

Can you tell me if you still have this problem?
It actually looks like a Google Earth issue.

Hi, so I figured out the issue. In order to see the photos, you need to go to Tools-->Options--> Change Graphics Mode from DirectX to OpenGL. Seems to do the trick.
